Kyle turned 10 today. It's really hard to believe that my chubby, blonde happy baby boy has stretched into this thin, brown quiet ten year old! I couldn't ask for a better son, he's really a great kid :)
Liam's wish is a full scottish kilt outfit. He's been asking for a few years for this now, but kilts are pretty dear, and just not very practical. Soo, about a month ago, G and I were at an auction, when this wool handmade very old kilt came up for auction. G bid on it, and won it for not very much money at all! Liam was thrilled about it. It's miles too big, but it'll fit him someday LOL we improvised for the rest of the outfit, and he was laughing so hard at his "sporran"~ a persian cat webkinz.
G has been transferred. His company is opening a new branch in New Brunswick, and he's been chosen to move there and open and run it. I have such mixed feelings about this. I can see the "leading" in it, how God has been slowly paving the way. I can't WAIT to live where I can go to the beach, have so many bible conferences close by, and just be "down east". I am also dragging my feet, because in spite of having wanted to go back since I left, I have my sister and so many great friends here. It's hard to go to a new place and start over, especially when you are leaving behind people you love. It will be nice to raise my boys in the east, but they too will be leaving their friends, and really what they've always known. We've been in Ontario for 9 years now! I am proud of my husband, that he works hard and it is recognized.
My Uncle passed away yesterday. He had a brain tumor, and really didn't linger that long after it was diagnosed, only a few months. Uncle Randy was the fourth born, only a year older than my Mother. He was 58. He had very blue eyes, and a red beard. I didn't really know my uncle, as he lived in a different province than we did for many years, but I am still sad that he has gone so soon and so quickly. My boys when we went to visit him last Friday: In Memoriam Randy Charles Bradley 1950- 2008 http://www.loganfh.ca/Obituaries/
