I've stopped shampooing my hair

Yes, it's true. After making my own laundry soap, I wanted to see what else I could do that would help remove chemicals and expense from my family's everyday lives. I read online alot about "no-poo", which basically means you don't use shampoo, but baking soda, vinegar, tea, coffe, or something else to clean your hair. I brewed up a concoction of rosemary, cinnamon, sage, honey, lemon, and tea, which I use as a rinse after the baking soda. It works quite well, and I have noticed a huge difference in my hair, as well as G's! G's hair used to be dry and sort of fuzzy, but it's much silkier and managable now. Mine is well, just, nicer. It's not as dry, and I've noticed that my rampaging split ends have calmed down. I don't want a hair cut, so I am glad of that!
What's next? living in a tree house, wearing a colourful long dress? hahahaha!!!

Tell me more about your concoction! I was going to try the no poo thing too but was afraid of the smell or lack thereof but I like the sounds of yours! And how often do you wash you hair with the baking soda and do you put it in a solution of water?
